What's Right

It's about what's right. Freedom is what's right, everything else is what's left. Fair is not the issue, equal is not the issue, nice is not the issue, politically correct is most certainly not the issue, the issue is what's right.

The question in any field of endeavor has always been what works? That's what's right! Grandma always said if it don't work dump it and if it ain't broke don't fix it. Our form of government has been on an 80 year slide into socialism thanks to politicians. Socialism is a total failure. It fails every time and everywhere it's tried. It simply can not work never has, never will! It is contrary to human nature and logic. The only people who benefit from socialism are not the poor but the politician. It's the traditional power grab of evil, lying, thieves and the insane.

Human nature is to provide for you and yours first. Human nature is to win the game. Human nature is to compete and excel. Then when you've prospered it's human nature to become generous and support the church, favorite causes and help those in need. That's why we're the most generous nation on earth, because we're free to prosper first!

Socialism is a failure on the most fundamental level, it's upside down thinking. It's trickle up instead of trickle down, water never runs uphill. Socialism makes the assumption that there are those who simply can not achieve and keep up with the rest of us and it's governments job to give them aid. Very few people are so handicapped that they can't be productive and those people have always been cared for in our society (historically it's the socialists who eliminate them). Everyone has talents and abilities, and brains enough to use them, until you remove incentive. Why work if your going to get food clothing and shelter for free, and why on earth work if someone in the government is going to take most of what you make anyway?

Socialism pits the poor against the rich. That has never been the American way. The American way has always been for the average Joe's to strive to get rich himself. America the land of opportunity! Where people are rewarded for their efforts. We never hated the rich, we emulated them. We wanted to get rich ourselves, to send our children to college and retire with a nice little nest egg.

Liberal do gooders and the humanitarian "Progressive" think they are being Christian by letting Government care for the poor, quite the opposite is true. The story goes that Satan desired to make men obey their Lord. He would force man to worship God and obey the law. God on the other hand wanted man to have free will. To only come to him in praise when man himself so desired. God knew forced obedience would lead to loathing and rebellion, that man would long for freedom. Unless man desired to do what was good and right out of the longing of his own heart obedience was in vain. So our merciful and all knowing Lord gave us free will.

So it is with government. Men must be free to excel and prosper before they will be willing to share with others. To take a mans property by force (taxes) makes you nothing but a thief. To tell people that your just leveling the playing field and helping the poor makes you a liar. That old saw has been tried over and over and it just don't cut the wood. The only way to help the poor is to provide a prosperous, free economy that will allow them to get rich on their own.

The author of lies has many names Socialist just happens to be one of them. Only one thing works, freedom, it's the American way, it's what's right.
